Dialing through Phlink
If you have purchased Ovolab Phlink, then you can use JPT to dial through Phlink’s telephone adapter (requires Ovolab Phlink version 1.4+ & Telephone Adapter).

Simply select “Phlink” in the “Dial Method” drop down menu for the various call types in the Dialing Rules and those calls dialed by JPT will be preprocessed based on the current JPT Dialing Rules and then routed to Phlink. When routing calls to Phlink from JPT you can also specify whether the calls are recorded, whether silence detection is enabled (to automatically terminate a call after a pre-determined amount of silence), and the automatic hang up timeout to use when the silence detection is tripped. For more information, please see the Phlink documentation or contact Ovolab directly.
As of v3.0, JPT can also target a Phlink telephone adapter installed on a remote machine. To use this feature, you must know the IP address of the remote machine as well as a username and password associated with an account on that machine. Finally, that machine must also have “Remote Apple Events” enabled in the Sharing pane of the System Preferences. When configured properly, dialing though JPT will send a dial command to the telephone adapter connected to the remote Mac.
