Trial Period & Registration

Dialectic is trialware. This means that the application is fully functional, for free, for 14 days. During the trial period, you can test Dialectic to make sure that it will meet your needs. While it will be fully functional during the trial, when launching you will receive a request to register the application. This message will also tell you how much time is left to your trial period (you can also see how much time is left from the About window).

There is no way to reset the trial period (though you can disable it entirely by purchasing a license). Whenever a new version of Dialectic is released, you will receive a new trial period to test the new version even if you have previously tested an earlier version and that trial period has expired.

If you would like to continue using Dialectic past the 14-day trial, you need to purchase a license to register the application and remove the trial limitation. Licenses can be purchased from the Dialectic store:

Please test Dialectic to see if it is compatible with your system before you register. The beauty of trialware is that you can determine if a product will meet your needs before you buy it so please, please exercise this great feature!

Once you have purchased a license for Dialectic, you will receive a Registration Key via email. You can register the application and remove the trial period by entering your Registration Key when you launch the application (if the application is already launched, you can use the “Enter Registration Key...” menu item from the main menu if running in background mode or from the Dialectic menu when running in foreground mode).
