Ovolab Phlink

Ovolab Phlink is a powerful hardware/software solution for connecting your Mac to your phone (your landline or a VoIP connection that supports an analog telephone adapter). Phlink can both make outgoing calls and receive incoming calls. When receiving incoming calls, Phlink can react to commands entered by the caller to direct the call to a specified mailbox or to retrieve information.

Dialectic works with Phlink to simplify dialing by enabling it to be used as a Dial Method used with your Dialing Rules. This allows you to dial from any of the Dialectic number menus, the Services menu, or any of the other methods Dialectic supports for dialing. For more information on dialing Phlink from Dialectic, see the Phlink Dial Method section.

In addition to dialing Phlink from Dialectic, the two can be further integrated to allow Phlink to notify Dialectic when it receives an incoming call. This notification can be basic (simply telling Dialectic to add the call to the Call Log) or it can be more robust telling it to act on the call as if it had detected the call itself allowing you to trigger all of the incoming call actions.

For more information on this, please see the Phlink documentation and the Dialectic Online Resources:
